There are tons of reasons to love Toronto and this winter, the city will be hosting an incredible festival for all the tea lovers out there. Leave it up to Toronto to hold the most unique events and experiences. From January 31st to February 2nd, the Toronto Tea Festival will be taking place at the Toronto Reference Library. Bottom’s up! It’s Canada’s largest festival for tea lovers.
Whether you’re a newbie or a “tea connoisseur,” the Toronto Tea Festival gives its attendees a chance to discover hundreds of teas and learn from experts in the industry. Sounds like a great way to learn about your favorite drink, right? Well, quick and get your tickets! There’s tons of stuff to learn, and they’re selling quick.
The festival kicks off on January 31st with a VIP event. What makes this portion of the event so special? Expert tea-taster, Kevin Gascoyne, will be hosting a meditative tasting experience with rare teas. This is the first time that this event will be taking place at a consumer show in Canada.
Tickets for the festival’s VIP event are separate from the regular Saturday/Sunday entry. Costing $120, availability is limited to a maximum of 40 guests. Tickets are available through purchase online here. You can also buy them in-person at the Tao Tea Leaf store located on Yonge.
