You know what they say… April showers bring May flowers. While the world pandemic has brought us to a halt, it’s been uplifting to see companies do their part in keeping the general population safe, well-fed and happy.

The Toronto Flower Market is an annual event that boasts some of the most beautiful blossoms. Every year, gardeners, florists and craftspeople from across Ontario join in for a day to show off their gorgeous flowers.

This year would have been the Market’s eighth consecutive year. 2019 was a huge success for them, with over a dozen vendors, successfully selling out of their dazzling blooms. Of course, with social distancing taking place, it’ll be a little different for this year’s floral event. Rather than its traditional pop-up, the Toronto Flower Market will be going virtual!

A quick visit to the official Toronto Flower Market website, and you’ll see that they’ll be “in bloom” on Saturday, May 2nd from 10am to 3pm. All you have to do is submit your email for updates on what they have coming up. We also highly suggest saving that date (Again, it’s May 2nd!) because it’ll be here before you know it. Online shopping never looked so pretty. Imagine filling your virtual cart with some of the province’s most beautiful flowers?!

This year, vendors include My Luscious Backyard and FairyPatch Flower Farm. Be sure to follow the Toronto Flower Market’s Instagram account for continuous updates and also, for a chance to catch their live sessions during this year’s virtual market event.

What kind of flowers would you order?
