Searching for “Winter Wonderland” but can’t seem to find it in the city? Worry not! Just three hours away from Toronto is a breathtaking park - Arrowhead Provincial Park, to be exact.

Located in the city of Huntsville, Arrowhead Provincial Park is quite the sight in the wintertime. There, you can participate in winter-themed activities like cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing and their most popular: skating. Once you see the skating trail in Arrowhead Provincial Park, you’ll see why it’s everyone’s favorite.

The park’s skating park is 1.3km long and is surrounded by beautiful trees. When the snow falls, it makes for the perfect winter scene. Hint: we think it’s the perfect place for a date - so romantic and so unique! On certain days of the year, the park hosts “Fire & Ice” nights, meaning that the trail is surrounded by hundreds of tiki torches.

What’s great about Arrowhead Provincial Park is that you can rent skates for only $10. Admission is by vehicle at $12.50 a pop. On weekends it gets really crowded, especially Saturdays - so plan accordingly!

How will you be skating the trails of Arrowhead Park? With friends? With family? Perhaps on a first date? We’re eager to explore this beautiful park this winter!
