Dog training can seem pretty overwhelming and stressful (especially if it’s your first dog), but at this Pooches and Prosecco event at select Vin Room locations, you can spend valuable time with your beloved four-legged friend while sipping some bubbly! Presented by Vin Room and Dogma Behaviour & Education Centre, “Pooches and Prosecco” is a private group training class for you and your furry friend on the patio of Canada’s largest wine bar.

There is no restriction on the age or size of your dog. Ticket prices are extremely affordable at only $40 for each human. Each ticket Includes 2 glasses of wine, beer or prosecco, a training session, and a bag of goodies worth $50 filled with Neals Yard Remedies, Champion Foods, Doodle Dogs, Bon a Pet Treat Bakery, and Momentum Health! Net proceeds from these classes will be donated to Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation.
Organizers of the event suggest that the best way to make the most of your afternoon is to bring small treats for training your dog as well as a 4-8' leash (but no choke chains, prong or shock collars or retractable leashes). They also ask that your pooch be up-to-date on their vaccinations. The next training session will take place on September 8th and the theme is “Ask the Trainer!” During this information-packed afternoon, the trainers will share with you some key concepts to help you effectively prevent and change behavioural problems with your furry friend, so be sure to bring your questions as they will take time to help you resolve your specific challenges!
