Coronavirus has made it a lot harder to travel this year, but there are still tons of ways you can have a memorable summer vacation right here in Ontario! For many families, the summer just isn’t complete without a fun camping trip. But who says sleeping in the woods has to be uncomfortable?! That’s where the beauty of glamping (glamour + camping) comes in!

There are tons of beautiful beaches and parks just a short drive from Toronto where you can experience the great outdoors while still feeling glamorous! So check out these 8 gorgeous places to go glamping near Toronto!

1. Outpost Co. Luxury Camping

a

If you’re looking to escape from big crowds this summer, then this is the camp site for you! Outpost accommodates just 8 people at a time! These totally private luxury tents are located on Lake Obabika surrounded by ancient forests, and furnished with queen size beds and Egyptian cotton sheets.

2. Whispering Springs Wilderness Retreat

Located just 1.5 hours from Toronto, these luxury tents are perfect for a weekend getaway. They have a range of different sizes, but they all come with a private deck, private washroom, king or queen size bed, and luxury linens! Please note: this site is an adults-only destination.

3. Elements Luxury Tented Camp

a

The best part about this all-inclusive glamping resort (besides the chic decor) is that the rooms come with butlers and room service!

4. Stella Luna Glamping

Stella Luna describes their fully furnished canvas bell and tipi tents as a “hybrid pop-up hotel.” There are tons of activities nearby like zip lining, tubing, walking tours, and you can even order in!

5. Northridge Inn & Resort

a

This inn was awarded by Trip Advisor as one of the top 25 Boutique Hotels in Canada, and it’s renowned for its stunning views of Lake Bernard. Each glamping tent comes with free Wifi, a private fire pit, and a private BBQ!

6. Off Grid Tree House

This rustic, secluded tree house has to go on your summer bucket list! Just 30 minutes from Ottawa, this site is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway with bae!

7. Stylish Yurt in Rossport

a

If the stunning views of Lake Superior weren’t enough to make you want to book this place, than the spacious interior with a queen size bed, private bathroom, kitchen, and sauna will definitely seal the deal.

8. WildExodus Travel

At 7 hours away from Toronto, this is the furthest site on our list but the stunning tents make up for it! Sleep under the stars on a queen bed in the Canadian Boreal forest that even comes with room service!
