Situated on the third floor of the luxury department store, this newly revamped eatery is the brand’s flagship café. With 20-foot-high windows that provide amazing natural light and a bird’s eye view of the Mink Mile, the decor inside Holt’s Café is truly breathtaking. It’s the perfect setting for business lunches, post-work social gatherings, or simply for those who want an elegant break from shopping.
The lunch menu from Executive Chef Benjamin Lillico contains some favourites from before the revamp along with some mouthwatering new additions. Some of the must-try’s include: the seared albacore tuna tartine ($25) with roasted pepper tapenade, and egg yolk; as well as the organic carrot tart ($25) with filo pastry, cashew creme, and apricot chutney.

But you can’t leave Holt’s Café without having one of their signature cocktails! The smoked Manhattan ($19) is served under a smoked-filled glass cover that will look bomb on your Instagram story. But the prettiest drink is hands-down the Renfrew ($18) that’s filled with sparkling rosé, Cointreau, and bubbling rose water caviar.
They also have alcohol-free mixed drinks like the pink popsicle that comes with pomegranate, sparking lemon, and (you guessed it) a popsicle. From the decor to the food to the drinks, it’s easy to see why this is becoming one of the city’s most elegant lunch spots!
