Beer, BBQ, live music, and local chefs— is there any better way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon in September? Brewery & The Beast is a one-of-a-kind, meat-heavy outdoor culinary experience that’s returning to Victoria on September 22nd.

With events also taking place in Vancouver and Calgary, Brewery & The Beast will feature the city’s best chefs grilling up the highest quality meats from local and regional farms. The Phillips Brewing Company will also offer a diverse selection of their award winning beers to pair with each expertly crafted dish. Cider, wine and non-alcoholic options (that’ll be more exciting than just soda) will also be available. Finally, some live music from The Electric Timber Company will be your soundtrack for the evening.

Each festival attendee will receive a personal wooden board that has a cup holder for their beer along with a hand and face cloth to use in between munching on all the delicious creations! While the menu for this year has not been released, last year’s menu featured everything from fresh shucked oysters to smoked pork ribs to charcoal grilled wagyu flank steak to braised wild boar!
According to their website, the goal of the Brewery & The Beast is to “to educate and inform guests of the importance of being a conscientious consumer. It is more important than ever to support responsible and sustainable food producers by purchasing their harvest in restaurants, grocery stores, and markets.”
