Looking for ways to enjoy the weather while staying active? Well, it surely does seem like “the norm” nowadays. With most of the city on specific restrictions due to COVID-19, most of us are spending time in the great outdoors.

Well, here’s our chance to roll through our city’s beautiful streets. A company called Retro Rolla is giving Toronto residents a chance to rent their very own retro roller skates. Totally groovy, right?!

The roller skates will be available to rent by the hour. Renters must be 18 and over, and costs will start at $18 an hour. For an additional fee, Retro Rolla will provide helmets and protective gear - which are highly recommended, especially for newbie skaters.

Keep in mind, roller skates are different than in-line skates and rollerblades. Roller skates have two rows of two wheels, and a toe stop to brake. This new service will be perfect for your IG feed! If summer is your esthetic, then Retro Rolla is definitely for you!

The rental service will be available as of June 2021. Their location is yet to be revealed, but we absolutely cannot wait! Be sure to follow them on Instagram to get all the updates!
